A firming eye cream with NAD+, liposome-encapsulated retinal and 50 peptides that leaves the skin around the eyes looking smoother, firmer and brighter.

Ingredients and effect:
Retinal (retinaldehyde) is a form of vitamin A. In this cream it is encapsulated in tiny liposomes (3D Retinal), which according to the maker keep the active stable, help it reach the skin more effectively and reduce irritation. Retinal helps smooth the look of wrinkles and fine lines and makes pores less visible. NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in cellular energy metabolism and helps skin look more resilient and elastic. A complex of 50 peptides gives the skin around the eyes a plumper, firmer look. 4% niacinamide (vitamin B3) evens out skin tone and reduces the look of dark spots, and together with ceramide it helps brighten the look of dark circles for a more radiant under-eye area. Three forms of hyaluronic acid hydrate the skin, and ceramide helps it hold on to moisture.

The maker reports that in a 4-week test the cream improved the look of five types of wrinkles around the eyes (crow's feet, under-eye lines, malar creases, fine lines at the inner corner of the eye and eyelid wrinkles) and helped reduce the look of dark spots and freckles. According to the maker, it can be used beyond the eye area too: on the face (smile lines and forehead lines), neck and body.

Skin type:
Suitable for all skin types, especially skin with signs of ageing, loss of firmness or a tendency to pigmentation. According to the maker, the formula is gentle enough for sensitive skin.

Texture:
A soft, creamy ivory cream. The tube's fine nozzle makes it easy to dispense a small, precise amount.

How to use:
Before first use, do a patch test: apply 2 mm of cream to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours. If no irritation occurs, use the cream preferably in the evening: squeeze about 2 mm onto a fingertip and gently pat it onto the skin around the eyes until absorbed. Avoid contact with the eyes. Once your skin is used to it, gradually increase the amount to 4 mm. According to the maker, it can also be used in the morning. Always use sunscreen with SPF during the day.
